Robert is acknowledged by the legal directories as a leader in his field. The 2006 edition of The Legal 500 states that Robert 'heads a two-partner team that has an excellent reputation as far afield as the City' whilst Chambers and Partners "A Client's Guide to the Legal Profession 2007" states that 'the Peterborough-based team is headed by the “talented and effective” director, Robert Dillarstone, who “never ducks an issue". He has been advising on high-level contentious and pre-dismissal issues as well as the current hot potato that is TUPE. Highlights have included advice to a large media plc on the employment, TUPE and restructuring aspects of its acquisition of a group of radio companies'.
