Alastair is perhaps best known for his work with the media sector. He is well connected within the sector and has advised on many high profile and interesting matters from the launch of new titles, to strategically important brand extension projects, securing new investment, and the acquisition and sale of titles - both in the UK and internationally.
For example, Alastair has led teams in:
- advising Australian Securities Exchange listed Aspermont Limited (Australia’s leading print and Internet publisher to the mining, oil & gas industry and related sectors) on its acquisition of publications company Mining Communications Limited; and
- advising Boat International Group Limited in relation to the UK aspects of its acquisition of the monthly publication Showboats International, associated publications, events and websites.
