An experienced Disputes lawyer who also has a strong passion for business development. Kirstie is the definition of a “people-person” and goes the extra mile to make clients, new and old, feel valued. She invests her time getting to know clients and their business to understand what really makes them tick and the challenges they face. Kirstie’s legal background means she is knowledgeable about dispute-avoidance and litigation and can quickly identify what is important to clients.

Kirstie trained with the firm and qualified into the Disputes team in 2013. She began her career working closely with senior team members on a variety of complex disputes, from unfair prejudice claims and shareholder disputes to injunctions, adjudications and arbitrations. Kirstie also works closely with the Property Disputes team being recognised as a leading expert in the niche field of property guardianship law.

On her return from maternity leave, Kirstie became the firm’s first Business Development Executive dedicated to a sole team within the firm. She works very closely with the firm’s Sales & Marketing team. Kirstie supports the Disputes team with its business development initiatives – including ensuring clients enjoy excellent working relationships with the team.

In 2016, Kirstie was elected as the president of the Peterborough and District Law Society (PADLS), making her the youngest-ever president of a local law society in England and Wales at that time, and the third female president in PADLS’ history.
