Jack Hunt School students ‘Take Over’ for the day

Greenwoods welcomed Jack Hunt students, Madihah Nazir and Hasan Jahangeer, on a ‘take over day’ experience as Marketing and Digital Media Assistants.

Jack Hunt’s ‘Take over day’ is an event that invites students to shadow professionals in their working environment. The students worked alongside our Practice Development team, and learned about the relationship between law, marketing and the media.

The students looked at the use of social media to promote a law firm, alongside the importance of digital benchmarking and branding. They also had a chance to talk to some of our legal trainees about their pathway to Greenwoods.

Both students enjoyed the day and gave us great feedback.

Hasan said “The working atmosphere was very friendly. I met a wide range of people and learnt new ideas about the development of a firm…..I have enjoyed my day here and in the future, I will be applying to do some work experience for one week which will allow me to gain an insight into the different areas of law as well as the opportunity to meet other departments.”

Madihah said, “This great opportunity has allowed me to meet new people who were once in the same or similar position as me whilst at school. They took the time to talk to me and gave information which was very helpful. The staff were incredibly friendly, and were always there to offer me support and made me feel part of the team. The working atmosphere was superb, with huge amounts of space and facilities to use.”

We were delighted to give the students an opportunity to experience the world of Greenwoods first hand. We thoroughly enjoyed having them! We wish Madihah and Hasan the best of luck with their future endeavours.
