Ben is a consultant for Greenwoods and provides a service that meets all the tax advisory needs of Greenwoods’ clients.

Ben has over 20 years of experience as a tax lawyer and barrister.  He started his career working in the corporate/international tax department of Big 4 firms and worked as a senior in-house tax counsel for a number of large financial institutions/investment banks, including Deutsche Bank, UBS, and Blackrock.

Ben has practised in England & Wales as a solicitor since 2005 and was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2011.

He is the author of Professional Tax Insight: Cryptocurrency and Blockchain published through Bloomsbury Professional.  The first and perhaps most authoritative work on the taxation of cryptocurrency in the UK.

Whilst advising across a broad spectrum of tax matters. Ben has particular expertise in:
