Meet Daniella: “During my seat with the Disputes team, I realised contentious law matched my personality and long-term values.  It is full of action, plot twists and forensic investigating through legal or factual research. The attitude that contentious law demands from litigators is extremely fulfilling for me, and it is certainly an area of law I can see myself developing in and learning continuously. As someone who is also passionate about combatting the climate crisis, I felt most alive and enthusiastic being able to channel my inner advocate in this area of law.”

“I’m looking forward to translating my litigious skills to combatting the climate crisis, whether that is one day (hopefully) being involved in a climate litigation case in my career at Greenwoods or through my own pro bono initiatives. The skills gained as a litigator can be helpfully transferred outside the office, and I hope to make an impact for the planet in that regard.”

Meet Connor: “My favourite seat? Construction, of course! I really enjoy working with the construction clients we have at Greenwoods, the variety of work involved (as I advise on contentious and non-contentious construction issues like the rest of my team) and having specialist knowledge.”

I’m looking forward to learning and absorbing knowledge from Construction Partners Lorna Carter and Howard Crossman, as they have incredible construction experience but with different specialisms”.
