FIND A LAWYER

Resiliently fights for: her clients and our planet

Daniella Cha

Associate

Daniella completed her Training Contract with Greenwoods in September 2023, and is a solicitor in the Disputes team in London, specialising in commercial disputes.

Prior to her Training Contract, Daniella has worked as a Paralegal across diverse areas of law at various London law firms, and institutions such as: Bristows, the Financial Conduct Authority, Carpmaels and Ransford, and Mishcon de Reya. She acquired experience in the commercial world whilst working in IP litigation, competition law, and financial market enforcement, representing household names, tech companies, and pharmaceutical companies. She has this experience balanced with private clients where she worked in private contentious law, and immigration law, representing high net, and ultra-high net worth individuals.

Having worked for five years as a Paralegal across various London law firms, Daniella has seen that despite the variety of areas of law, law firms, clientele and legal issues, the common factor between all of these is that achieving your legal and/or commercial objectives can be a stressful process for clients. Daniella has learnt the absolute importance of communicating effectively with not only the client, but with all other third parties involved. Daniella values building genuine relationships with clients, but when it comes to achieving client objectives, Daniella strives to uphold technical excellence, demonstrate the highest levels of attention to detail, and refuses to give into any pressure throughout the process.

Daniella also has a strong interest in climate justice and climate law, and has a passion for raising awareness to the current and new generation of lawyers of the role they can partake in combatting the climate crisis whilst advising clients.

Daniella studied Law (LLB) at City, University of London, and studied her Masters in Law (LLM) in Intellectual Property Law at Queen Mary University, achieving a distinction. She completed her Legal Practice Course in 2020, achieving distinction in Commercial and IP law, Advanced Civil Litigation, and Media law.

Her experience is not limited to only UK jurisdiction. Daniella gained experience in Australia and South Korea, completing summer vacation schemes at T and T lawyers in Perth, and at DR&AJU International law firm in Seoul. She also completed her Masters in Law in her university’s Paris campus. She is bilingual in English and Korean, and also speaks Italian and French.

Daniella is a member of the International Association of Korean Lawyers, and is a member and volunteer of Legal Voices for the Future, a forum to give voice to a new generation of lawyers on the climate and ecological crises.
