Mel Messenger

With a career focused on advising on Wills, trusts, IHT planning and probate and having previously played a pivotal role in the success of our Wealth Preservation team, Mel is the perfect person to lead our Wealth Preservation team during Clare Harris’ maternity leave.

Mel’s knowledge of this area of law, our clients, our team and the many professionals we work with to ensure clients can achieve the solutions they are looking for, drawn from her 12 years with us, ensures excellent leadership continuity.

Mel began her career with a national leading national firm and is a full member of the Society of Trust & Estates Practitioners (STEP), a body of internationally recognised experts with specialist, proven qualifications, and experience.  During her career, Mel has provided a range of advice, including:

• Advising high-net-worth clients on inheritance tax planning strategies
• Leading on complex estate administration
• Advising individuals and families on complex Wills and lasting powers of attorney

Mel is focused on leading and supporting our team to deliver excellent service and solutions to our clients.  We look forward to welcoming Clare back to the Head of Wealth Preservation role later this year.
