Anti-trust, Competition & Regulatory Law

Global Antitrust, Competition and Regulatory Law (including Public Procurement)

Antitrust, competition and regulatory law has a wide-ranging impact on the way companies conduct business internationally. Led by Consultant, Robert Bell, we regularly advise clients on compliance with competition and regulatory obligations unique to the jurisdictions in which they operate. We work with clients to achieve their transactional objectives and as such assist in rendering compliant agreements, business strategies and policies to minimise risk and liability. We work closely with the EU Commission and the UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA), as well as other government agencies as appropriate on each individual transaction to address and resolve issues in a timely fashion, including investigations. Competition laws can also serve as tools to safeguard clients’ commercial interests and reputations. Working in association with our Disputes team, we have experience initiating court proceedings to restrain breaches of competition law, as well as claiming damages for any losses suffered.

We specialise in advising clients in the following sectors: ex ante EU and UK regulated sectors, EU Digital Markets Act and Digital Services Act, UK Digital Markets Unit, financial services, communications, energy, rail, water, manufacturing and production, and technology.
