Not all networking events are 100 million years in the making. This one was.

A good deal more than the usual canapés and small talk.

Guests could also explore two of the Cathedral’s current exhibitions. The first: Titanosaur, a full-scale cast of Patagotitan mayorum on loan from the Natural History Museum in London, which puts your own scale firmly in perspective. The second: The Longest Yarn II, the sequel to the wool art exhibition that drew crowds this spring, this time telling the story of life in Britain from 1939 to VE Day. Both stopped people mid-conversation – no small feat at a networking event.

When your venue has nine centuries of history, a full-scale dinosaur, and the tomb of a Tudor queen, you’re starting from a good place. But it’s the people who make an evening. Great company, good conversation, and a city that never stops surprising us. Thank you to everyone who joined us.

More events to come – topping a dinosaur may take some doing. If you’d like to be in the room next time, have a word with your usual Greenwoods contact.
