FIND A LAWYER

Authentic, challenging, open – and unmistakably human.

Graham Coxell

Chair

Graham joined Greenwoods for the chemistry: low egos, high integrity, and a shared desire to learn and grow.

He saw a business with strong fundamentals – organic growth, the right size to make change happen, a strong reputation in the market – and ambitions that were realistic but properly stretching.  Having spent his career leading, and more recently supporting, high-growth businesses backed by external investment, he felt that experience had something to offer Greenwoods as it enters its next stage.

That career includes being the youngest ever CEO of a FTSE 250 company, Marlborough Stirling, where he took turnover from £17m to £120m through to IPO.  He sat on the regulated board of Capita’s life and pensions division as it grew from 1,200 people to 10,000 in four years, and led the acquisition, turnaround and sale of Rowan Dartington Wealth Management to St James’s Place, where he joined the FTSE 100 executive board.

Alongside Greenwoods, he currently chairs BKL, a high-growth accountancy practice, and the Quanta Group, a wealth manager.  He is also a non-executive director at RARE TV.

Graham joined Greenwoods as Chair on 3 October 2025, working alongside CEO Rob Dillarstone and the Executive Board as the firm sets its sights on high growth and ambitious expansion, with the backing of Gresham House.

Away from work, he’s a trustee of the National Fund for Retired Service Animals and a committed animal lover.
