Meet our newly qualified solicitor Ewelina Kippen

Fast forward to 2020 when I started my training contract with the firm.  My second of four seats was in the Wealth Preservation department. Those six months of my training contract were the most crucial six months of my professional career to date. My time with the team taught me a multitude of skills and made me fall in love with my work. I grew in confidence and learned how to guide clients through what can sometimes be a complex and distressing process. With careful guidance and support from the team and my supervisor, I discovered various effective ways of helping clients reduce the emotional stress associated with estate planning and administration.

I am very much a people person and having experienced the day-to-day contact I had with clients during my training contract, I had no doubt that Wealth Preservation was my calling. I qualified as a solicitor in September 2022 and now provide practical advice on various aspects of my clients’ personal affairs, including estate planning, lasting powers of attorney, will drafting and estate administration.

When I am not at work, I am an avid reader and also enjoy long leisurely walks. I am currently on a mission to read all of the books written by my favourite author, with 23 books left on my to-read list. I have two cats (Ruby and Cassie) and a mini lop rabbit (Francis) who I spoil rotten. In recent years, particularly throughout lockdown, I became a self-professed gardener and am proud to have laid over 30 slabs, revived our grass at least twice and planted 4 flower beds in our garden.
