Cutting through complexity: Securing a new lease for Leroy & Rose

Leroy & Rose are a full service advertising agency, specialising in the entertainment industry. They needed help to secure a business property lease in Central London. This involved the following:

• Reviewing and advising on the lease documentation.
• Negotiating the lease terms and rent deposit deed on the client’s behalf.
• Explaining any personal guarantees or other liabilities.
• Confirming that the company had the authority to enter into the lease.
• Managing the legal completion process.
• Filing and paid any applicable Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT).

The lease was complex and outdated.

Leroy and Rose Ltd (UK entity) is affiliated with a US and French company so Harry had to explain many things to our american and french colleagues.

He also had to liaise with the agent (Lightlease) and the landlord’s managing agents.
