We’re delighted to welcome Adam Short as a partner in our Disputes team, adding specialist expertise in commercial litigation and international arbitration. He joins a team that has grown significantly over the past two years, further strengthening our partner-level capability as client demand continues to rise.

Alongside significant High Court and Competition Appeal Tribunal experience, he has extensive experience in international arbitration, including proceedings under the ICC, LCIA, DIAC and CAS rules. He has spent around five years practising in Dubai and regularly advises on disputes with a Middle East and wider cross-border dimension.
His appointment coincides with London International Disputes Week 2026 and reflects Greenwoods’ continued investment in a partner-led disputes offering.
Huw Wallis, Head of Disputes at Greenwoods, said:
“Adam’s appointment is an important step in the continued growth of our Disputes practice. He brings exceptional experience from leading firms and is exactly the kind of partner our clients and international referrers value – hands-on, commercial and trusted to run complex disputes.”
Adam Short added:
“Greenwoods offers a platform that allows disputes to be handled in the way clients increasingly want – partner-led, cost-effective and commercially focused. I am excited to be joining a team with such strong expertise, particularly at a time when London’s role in international dispute resolution is firmly in the spotlight.”
