Big-law depth. Commercial instincts. Meet Adam Short.

Adam joins from Travers Smith, where he was Senior Counsel, and brings 15 years’ experience advising on high-value, multi-jurisdictional disputes across a broad range of sectors. He previously worked at Clifford Chance and Pinsent Masons – experience that gives him a strong combination of big-law depth and the commercial instincts clients need.

Alongside significant High Court and Competition Appeal Tribunal experience, he has extensive experience in international arbitration, including proceedings under the ICC, LCIA, DIAC and CAS rules. He has spent around five years practising in Dubai and regularly advises on disputes with a Middle East and wider cross-border dimension.

His appointment coincides with London International Disputes Week 2026 and reflects Greenwoods’ continued investment in a partner-led disputes offering.
