Give to gain: our IWD 2026 disputes Event Report

To mark International Women’s Day, our Disputes team brought together more than 30 women from across the disputes and e-litigation world for a morning of visibility, community and honest conversation.

The theme – “Give to Gain” – was about amplifying others and building a more collaborative sector. Which is exactly what the morning delivered.

Holly Cope on LinkedIn and showing up digitally

We were joined by Holly Cope, ex-lawyer and the world’s #1 legal tech creator, for a clear, practical session on using LinkedIn to build visibility, grow a practice and communicate with impact.

Because advisers who communicate clearly and show up consistently aren’t just building their own profiles – they’re delivering better client service.  It’s an approach that mirrors how our own disputes team works – showing up clearly, communicating honestly and keeping clients at the centre.

Delegates left with “lots of practical takeaways” and, as one attendee put it, “a real sense of LinkedIn as a digital room, with a very supportive community within.”

A panel worth listening to

Emma Roche (Greenwoods), Emma Price (5 Essex Court, co-author of Baby at the Bar) and Eimear McCann (TrialView) gave candid, unfiltered takes on resilience, visibility and supporting junior talent.

“What a great event. I don’t think I’ve been to a session before with as much engagement and warmth.”

What came next

We left feeling genuinely connected – fuelled by a brilliant breakfast from POW Food, a female-led B-Corp whose food was deliciously different to a more usual breakfast bap.

We’re already thinking about what to do next. If you’d like to be involved in future sessions, get in touch.

A huge thank you to everyone who made the morning happen – and to every delegate who came, contributed and made it what it was.

Here is Holly explaining what this year’s #GiveToGain theme for International Women’s Day means to her:
