No one wants to find themselves needing a commercial litigator. However, when they do, they want responsive, straight-talking and pragmatic lawyers that not only add value and achieve results, but that they also get along with.
For any dispute to have a successful outcome, an understanding of the commercial and legal issues involved is essential. It also requires a clearly defined objective, a bespoke strategy that works (in terms of cost, timeframe and other wider commercial considerations) and empathy.
Litigation is a high-stress environment. And, determined high-calibre lawyers that are responsive and have a personable approach is rare.
Jamie’s approach to litigation is based on the above understanding and principles; that he has developed during his career. This, and the ability to prioritise the commercial needs of clients, play an important part in achieving their objectives. It also enables Jamie and clients to enjoy working together.
“Jamie McConnell and Huw Wallis show attention to detail and emotional intelligence with quality strategic advice and the ability to outperform much larger firms with more resource. They were emotionally involved with the client and showed an unparalleled work ethic and understanding of the law.”
“Jamie McConnell is really easy to get along with. Practical, approachable, and good judgement regarding litigation strategies”
“…Jamie McConnell are not only exceptional lawyers, with unparalleled attention to detail and grasp of the law but also have emotional intelligence levels that are critical in a high-stress environment.”
