Clients tend to end up contacting litigators when things have gone wrong.  Jayne believes that in these cases commercial pragmatism is the best policy – even if that means delivering a difficult message.

Jayne is a highly experienced Legal Executive whose clients appreciate her well-planned commercial approach to litigation.  She is keen to get to know each client and to fully understand their objectives to help inform a litigation strategy.

Jayne joined Greenwoods in 1997 and qualified as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives in 2009.  Since qualification Jayne has worked in the Disputes Team assisting within commercial disputes, insolvency and debt collection issues.

Jayne is also a member of the Education Sector.

Jayne has over 20 years of experience working a varied portfolio of clients, including well-known national names, recent work examples include:

  • advising a number of international clients in relation to enforcement of significant value foreign judgments in the UK ;
  • many years proving a premium debt collection service to a number of independent schools in relation to unpaid school fees and contractual disputes;
  • various contractual disputes, debt recovery and insolvency action on behalf of national and international clients; and
  • advising a regional supplier in relation to an adjudication pursuant to the Groceries Supply Code of Practice.

Away from the office Jayne enjoys running, and spending time with family and friends.

Jayne has particular skill in formulating litigation strategies for all forms of debt recovery and enforcement, for clients based within and outside the UK.

This includes all aspects of bankruptcy and winding-up, and preparing and enforcing debt compromise and instalment agreements, client examinations, High Court and County Court sheriff/bailiff appointments.

Her clients include banks, companies and private individuals.
