Jennifer Berritt
Managing Associate, Real Estate
Jennifer Berritt is a commercial property lawyer who values clarity, practicality, and calm guidance.
She specialises in commercial property across all use classes, with particular expertise in office spaces, the leisure sector, and refinancing. Jennifer works closely with companies, institutional lenders, agents, surveyors, corporate occupiers and high-net-worth individuals, helping them navigate property transactions and portfolios efficiently and confidently.
Before joining Greenwoods, Jennifer handled a broad mix of commercial real estate work including sales and acquisitions, refinancing and development projects. She has particular experience in complex leasing structures, including conditional agreements for lease, re-gears and tailored occupation arrangements. She also managed ongoing property portfolios for real estate investors, national restaurant chains, lenders, and charities, acting as the main client contact and ensuring matters ran smoothly.
Jennifer joined Greenwoods because she was drawn to a firm that does things differently — forward-thinking, modern, and supportive of lawyers taking ownership of their work. It was the right place for her next career step: somewhere she could grow, contribute, and focus on meaningful business development.
