Jordan is an experienced commercial disputes lawyer having advised on many significant and complex cases through the UK courts and LCIA and ICC arbitration forums . His practice covers the full lifecycle of a dispute ensuring clients are supported on a wide range of commercial and regulatory matters from issue avoidance through to resolution. Jordan takes great pride in developing deep understanding of his client’s business and industry and has been praised for his attention to detail, efficiency and excellent client service.

Alleged fraud claim

Acting for a US client in relation to an alleged fraud against its former accountant including applications for a Norwich pharmacal order and Bankers Trust order.

Court of Appeal tax dispute

Acting on Court of Appeal proceedings in a multi-million corporate tax dispute, including advising on witness evidence and disclosure obligations.

Jordan joined the firm’s Disputes team in April 2024. He has dispute resolution experience far beyond his PQE having, before qualifying as a solicitor in March 2022, provided integral paralegal support to litigation teams at multiple impressive law firms, including a boutique litigation-only law firm based in London.  He then went on to train and qualify into the Regulatory and Commercial Disputes team at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, undertaking a 5-month secondment to an international bank to advise on a contentious regulatory matter.

Jordan has experience advising in the full lifecycle of a dispute, from pre-contract negotiations and due diligence, to pre-action advice and correspondence, to proceedings in the UK High Court and Court of Appeal, as well as international arbitrations before a number of arbitral forums.

He specialises in shareholder and corporate and commercial disputes, contract disputes, professional negligence as well as fraud, bribery and corruption and anti-money laundering.

 Jordan has previously advised on significant disputes, including a £4 billion rights issue dispute before the Commercial Court, a substantial corporation tax dispute before the Court of Appeal and an investigation into a large high-end retailer by HMRC for breaches of the AML Regulations.

Jordan is an avid sportsman, with particular interests in football and golf. Alongside playing, he is currently the General Secretary of the Old Parkonians Association, a charitable association providing sporting opportunities to the local community. He is also a keen historian having studied History at the University of Nottingham. He enjoys increasing his knowledge and understanding through visits to museums and historical sites and reading contemporary historical texts.
