Lucy is a thoughtful, fair, caring and conscientious lawyer, known for her compassionate approach and sharp legal insight. She specialises in complex commercial and financial disputes, often spanning multiple jurisdictions. With meticulous attention to detail, Lucy excels navigating challenging legal and technical issues, consistently delivering innovative and effective solutions.

Lucy joined the firm in June 2024, bringing with her valuable experience from a leading City firm, where she also undertook a six-month secondment in Hong Kong.

She has advised on a broad range of disputes, including:

  • high-value claims involving misrepresentation, conspiracy and fraud;
  • matters concerning alleged breaches of fiduciary duties, torts and directors’ responsibilities;
  • applications for pre-action disclosure including Norwich Pharmacal Orders; and
  • a wide spectrum of contractual disputes.

Lucy qualified as a solicitor in September 2020, specialising in commercial disputes. As an experienced Associate, she has advised on a wide range of complex and high-stakes matters, including:

  • major group litigation concerning loss of pension value;
  • the successful defence of a US$2bn misrepresentation and conspiracy claim against a Thai wind energy company;
  • numerous authorised push payment (APP) fraud claims and other banking-related disputes including cases involving the wrongful closure of bank accounts by financial institutions;

 

  • bankruptcy and debt recovery proceedings;
  • alleged breaches of fiduciary duties, torts and directors’ responsibilities; and
  • a variety of contractual disputes, such as those involving commission payments, termination of business relationships and related advisory work.

 

Outside of her legal practice, Lucy is a passionate musician and singer-songwriter with a talent for playing a range of instruments.
