Rebecca is passionate about assisting clients to plan for the future and enjoys setting out different options for clients tailored to their aims and current circumstances. Rebecca provides practical and concise advice when advising clients on all areas of private client work.

Being a fully qualified member of the Society for Trust and Estate Practitioners has enabled Rebecca to expand her knowledge and put this into practice when dealing with all aspects of estate administration, trust administration and Wills.

Rebecca’s aspirations to become a solicitor began as a teenager and she followed the traditional route to achieve qualification, completing her Legal Practice Course, gaining work experience and then completing her training contract. Rebecca joined Greenwoods in 2017 and is a key member of our Wealth Preservation Team.

Advising on all aspects of private client law provides Rebecca with a varied caseload and enables her to continue to build on her already strong experience.

As well as advising clients in relation to their Wills and ensuring their wishes are reflected accurately, Rebecca can also assist with succession and estate planning, making sure that a client’s Will not only achieves their aims but also considering any inheritance tax issues or complications arising.

Rebecca regularly deals with complex estate administration, acting for both professional and lay executors providing practical advice regarding the hands-on aspects of dealing with an estate and technical advice as to the legal process and inheritance tax position.

Rebecca also advises on trusts, assisting clients setting up trusts to ensure that the structure is suitable to achieve the desired objectives and providing ongoing advice in relation to the continued administration of the trust including any tax matters
