Greenwoods grows Tax team with appointment of Ingrid McCleave

Ingrid joins from DMH Stallard, where she was a corporate tax and private client partner. Her career spans private practice, the Bar and two of the Big Four accountancy firms.  She is both a solicitor and a barrister, has been Head of Tax at City law firms, and has run her own practice.

She advises high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, corporates, owner-managed businesses and their families.  Her work runs from the tax on company sales and purchases, incorporation, family investment companies, group reorganisations and tax reliefs, through to inheritance tax planning, capital gains tax, stamp duty land tax mitigation, trust tax, tax-efficient estate and succession planning and probate, to domicile and offshore matters.  Many of her clients treat her as their family solicitor and return to her year after year.

She is a Legal 500 2026 Recommended Lawyer, won the International Advisory Experts Award for Trusts in 2021, was described as a notable Private Wealth Law practitioner in Chambers High Net Worth Guide 2025 and is widely followed for her writing on tax and trusts.
