This quote, provided to the independent Legal 500 researchers*, perfectly sums up our 19 strong disputes team. And it was probably a key factor in the team’s move up the highly competitive mid-market commercial litigation London ranking table. It’s a result that we’re very excited about and one that reflects the immense dedication that the team brings to dispute resolution. It’s unique to have a team and firm of our size achieve this ranking – we are punching with some heavyweights!
Great news for Huw Wallis, Jamie McConnell and Adele Whaley too. Adele and Jamie secure ‘Next Generation Partner’ rankings, whilst Huw continues to appear in the Legal 500’s Hall of Fame. In London, Partners Euan Palmer and Russell Strong are described as key lawyers, along with mentions for Managing Associate Sara Roden and Associate Sam Baxter.
We’re ambitious, so it’s fantastic to see our progress recognised. But what’s most important to us is that our clients are happy to share the great job we’re doing for them, whether this is a US$35 million international arbitration in the LCIA and the SIAC, resolving a longstanding £100m dispute for shareholders of a family business to defending numerous high-profile data privacy claims brought against one of the UK’s main political parties (widely reported in the press).
So, if you’re keen to secure advice from a team that’s not afraid to pursue innovative approaches, or if you fancy working with a brilliant team for clients who value your advice and service, get in touch with our Head of Disputes, Huw Wallis. Find out why we’re different.
