Advising a Swedish conglomerate on the acquisition of all shares for one of Europe's largest automotive providers

Stephen Jarvis and Francesca Jus-Burke, with input from specialists in our Real Estate and Employment teams, advised Hedin Mobility Group on its acquisition of all shares in Stephen James Alliance Ltd, as announced on 31 July 2023.

The transaction comprises all operations of the esteemed BMW and MINI retailer Stephen James Group, which employs circa 400 people and offers a comprehensive range of automotive solutions, selling over 6,000 new and used cars annually.

Following the completed acquisition of Stephen James Group, Hedin Mobility Group now represents BMW, MINI, Mercedes-Benz and smart in the UK with a total of 14 sales points and 9 workshops within the Greater London Area.

Hedin Mobility Group’s UK retail activities will be organised in two separate subsidiaries: Stephen James Automotive (BMW and MINI) and Hedin Automotive London (Mercedes-Benz and smart).
