Welcoming Lucy Baughan, a creative litigator with a strong eye for detail

Matters Lucy has previously been involved in include significant group action concerning loss of pension value, the successful defence of a US$2bn misrepresentation and conspiracy claim against a client in Thailand, various APP fraud claims and other banking-related claims, including the wrongful closure of bank accounts by financial institutions, bankruptcy and debt recovery proceedings.

As a result, she has a diligent eye for detail and enjoys finding creative solutions to legal problems.  In her first few weeks with us, Lucy has already been assisting with the defence of a multi-million-pound claim concerning alleged breach of directors’ duties and breach of trust and advising an international client in relation to obtaining disclosure of information relating to a complex breach.

Lucy is the third new member of our Disputes team in as many months, based in London with Charlotte Evenden and Jordan Cope, who joined the team earlier this year.  Our offer is compelling; we are ambitious, have a brilliant team, outstanding cases and a strong work pipeline.
