We’re not thrilled about promotions *

If you’re a regular visitor to the Greenwoods’ website, which we hope you are, you’ll know we’re not an identikit law firm.

And we know, and as a recent LinkedIn commentor highlighted in a not overly positively way, the promotions announcements of law firms traditionally begin ‘We are thrilled to announce …’

Which isn’t really us. Shouldn’t we be a bit more than thrilled? Especially given how hard we know everyone getting promoted has worked. Thrilled feels a bit like you’ve just discovered a pack of Rolos in the back of the cupboard.

So, we took some soundings around the office, and our marketing team had some hilarious ‘conversations’ with a select group of its ‘AI friends’.  And we reckon we’ve changed the narrative.  No ‘We’re thrilled to announce …’ for us.  We are going large!  After all, this is our biggest ever round of promotions.  There’s nothing unlucky about the number thirteen for the thirteen super-talented, all-round brilliant individuals, that are getting promoted this year.

So here goes, we’re slightly nervous now, but every single one of our newly promoted team deserves this.  They. Are. Exceptional.  Ready?

Grab your party hat and start the countdown because we’re about to kick off a celebration that’ll shake the cosmos!
